Honoring and\u00a0celebrating a life well lived. Michael R Helgens<\/strong> passed away on August 26,\u00a02024, at the age of 41, following a sudden illness in Dallas, Texas.\u00a0

Michael was known\u00a0for his jovial, warm, and welcoming spirit. Raised in Iowa, he spent the final\u00a0four years of his life in Texas. Above all, Michael cherished his two dogs,\u00a0Piper and Londo, who brought him immense joy.\u00a0
He had a deep love\u00a0for musicals, traveling, sharing time with friends, and savoring fine cigars\u00a0and whiskey. Adventure was part of who he was\u2014whether through travel or ghost\u00a0hunting alongside his closest friends.
Michael\u2019s creativity\u00a0shone brightly in his work. He was deeply involved with\u00a0The Watson Files<\/em>\u00a0at Strobie Studios, working with producer Scott\u00a0Strosahl and portraying Spencer Holmes, the grandson of Sherlock Holmes. Hegreatly enjoyed collaborating with Greg Kilburger as Watson and Steve Rimpici\u00a0as Officer Weathers.\u00a0

A gifted\u00a0storyteller, Michael wrote and produced films, taking special pride in his\u00a0award-winning film\u00a0Morris<\/em>. He also\u00a0authored two books in the\u00a0Legend of Lochlinlea<\/em>\u00a0series as well as\u00a0Inspiration Point<\/em>, all\u00a0available on Amazon. His love for storytelling extended to his Halloween tales,\u00a0which he narrated himself\u2014his voice perfectly suited for bringing those stories\u00a0to life.

Michael, you were a powerful light that touched many lives, so we\u00a0say to you, “So long for now, we will meet again someday”, and that\u00a0will be an amazing day for sure.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
